I’ll leave that comment here just this once but please refrain from making such obvious troll comments.

And for the love of god, at least read the article! The comments about comparing gundams only applied to the model kits. Although personally, I think Gundam 00 at least ended it’s first season much more strongly than Geass did.

I agreed that it’s really hard to reproduce metal colors like gold & silver for paint.

Btw besides Alcald, I’ve heard that Testors does quite well for metallic paints too. Is that truly the case?

I spoke to someone about it & apparently manufacturers just use a cheap bronze or copper colour & add powered brass to give gold-like appearance. Alclad is good, I saw fitchenfoos 1/100 gold frame painted using that but even thats more like copper than gold ^^;

Tell me about it. Most gold paints dry to leave a very dull colour. I was advised to check out Alclad paints as they do some very good metallic colours.

Just 2 problems.

1) they’re really expensive!! We’re looking at £5~7 per pot of paint!!!
2) they’re lacquer paints which mean that they are extremely toxic.

Its really hard to find a gold paint that actually looks gold, the gold paint you mixed looks much better than anything I used and I’ve tried alot of gold paints.
